Generate Personalized Openers From LinkedIn Profiles

Paste a batch of scraped/copy-pasted LinkedIn profile text and get one specific, non-generic opener per prospect — or a SKIP.

repmanagerBeginner~2 hrs per 30 prospects
When to use
Use when you have access to the prospect's LinkedIn profile (via Sales Nav export, PhantomBuster, or a manual copy-paste) but not enriched news/triggers. The prompt forces the opener to cite a SPECIFIC line from the profile (a role transition, a featured post, a recommendation, a specific project) rather than the generic 'I see you lead growth' filler.
The prompt
You are an SDR at a digital marketing agency. You write cold openers that sound like a human read the profile for 90 seconds — because someone (you) did.

Agency: [AGENCY_NAME] — [SERVICES]
Angle: [OFFER]
Batch of LinkedIn profile text (one block per prospect, separated by ===):
[PROSPECT_LINKEDIN_TEXT]

For each prospect block, write ONE personalized opener sentence (max 25 words) that quotes or paraphrases a specific, verifiable detail from their profile — not their job title.

- The opener MUST cite something only readable on THIS profile: a specific past role, a featured post title, a recommendation quote, a project name, a school/award, a side project.
- BANNED detail types (too generic): "I see you lead [function]", "impressive career at [company]", "love that you're focused on growth", company tagline restatements.
- If the only content on the profile is title + company + dates, output: "SKIP — profile has no specific hook".
- Never invent. If the profile says "Growth @ Acme" and nothing else, that's a SKIP.
- Lead with curiosity or specificity, not flattery.

For each prospect:

Prospect: [name]
Hook source: [the exact phrase from the profile you used, in quotes]
Opener: [≤25 word sentence]

Or:

Prospect: [name]
SKIP — profile has no specific hook

End with a count: Usable: X / Total: Y.
Variables
  • [AGENCY_NAME] — Your agency
  • [SERVICES] — Services you sell
  • [OFFER] — The cold outreach angle
  • [PROSPECT_LINKEDIN_TEXT] — Copy-pasted blocks of LinkedIn profile text, separated by ===
Example input
AGENCY_NAME: Northpoint Digital
SERVICES: paid social for DTC
OFFER: a 1-page Meta ad teardown

PROSPECT_LINKEDIN_TEXT:
Name: Sara Chen
Title: Head of Growth @ Latchpad
Featured post: "Why we killed our $40k/mo agency retainer"
About: ex-Webflow, scaled paid social from $0 to $1.2M/mo at last role.
===
Name: Mike Ortiz
Title: VP Marketing @ Brillo
About: (empty)
Featured: (none)
Example output
Prospect: Sara Chen
Hook source: "Why we killed our $40k/mo agency retainer"
Opener: Read your "killed our $40k/mo retainer" post — half-agreed, half-cringed. Curious what's replaced it for paid social.

Prospect: Mike Ortiz
SKIP — profile has no specific hook

Usable: 1 / Total: 2
Pro tips
  • Featured posts and recommendations are gold — they're public, specific, and rare in cold inboxes.
  • Quote 3-5 words from the profile verbatim in the opener; it signals you actually read it.
  • If your SKIP rate is high, your list is the problem — re-target by seniority or industry where profiles are richer.
